How do we work?

Our membership program is a 3-part program that blends monthly in-person and virtual events. The three parts are:

Members also have opportunities to serve with different projects if they so choose.

  • Who can join?

    Our membership program is for Black Womxn ages 16 and up.

  • How much does it cost to join?

    Local members members pay $125/yr or $12/month. Virutal members pay $75/yr.


    Rates will be prorated based the month you apply plus one month.


    Members will submit their payment via PayPal.

  • What local groups currently exist?

    Currently, our only local affiliate is Cincinnati/Dayton. If you are intersted in started a local affiliate, please contact charmaine@womanishprojects.org to ask about the process.

  • When do we meet?

    We meet once a month. Our Book clubs & membership forums typically meet on Saturday afternoons. Our Empowerment sessions are weekday day lunch and learns.

  • Can I participate in your events if I am not a member?

    Book club and empowerment sessions are open to non-members for a fee. Non-members cannot attend a membership forum.

  • What is your Diversity Statement?

Black women from diverse (religious, socioeconomic, ethnic, geographical, educational and sexual orientation) groups belong.
